Georgia Southern head coach Bobby Wilder said he is happy with the uniforms he’s seen for the 2017 season.
Wilder said it will be a different look than last year’s uniforms.
He said it’s something he will not change.
“We did the best we could last year, so we’re going to go ahead and make sure it’s the best it can be for this year,” Wilder told WXIA-TV.
Wilder’s players will be wearing the jerseys, which are made by a company called Georgia Southern.
The new uniforms will feature Georgia Southern’s logo, colors, and logo on the sleeves.
The colors are a mix of orange and white, but Wilder says the uniforms will be more reflective of the team’s colors.
It’s a little bit more modern than last season.
It’s a look we’re all going to be looking for,” Wilders said.
Wilders has been the head coach at Georgia Southern since 2005.
Georgia Southern football will be playing in the Southern Football Conference, which is a new league that will start in 2018.
Georgia Southern’s football schedule will be made up of three games, two of which will be in the SEC.
The Bulldogs will play five home games, including four at home, as well as two away games, which will begin in 2018 at Vanderbilt and Texas A&M.
Wilding said the new uniforms were a lot of fun to make.”
We’re excited to get the team back on the field.
We’re excited about being back at home and having a lot more success,” Wilding said.
