Iowa’s football team lost a 38-21 decision to the Wolverines on Saturday night in their second game of the Big Ten regular season.
The Hawkeyes lost the opening kickoff at Michigan Stadium to the Badgers.
Iowa’s defense allowed Michigan to gain 441 yards on the ground and scored a touchdown on a 45-yard run.
Michigan scored five straight touchdowns to take a 25-0 lead.
Iowa quarterback Nate Sudfeld threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a touchdown as the Hawkeyes won the game for the second time in four weeks.
Iowa will now play a game against Northwestern on Oct. 7.
