A new study suggests that many soccer fans still haven’t given up on the game, and they’re still holding out hope that the 2018 World Cup could go ahead.
According to a new study conducted by the United States Soccer Federation, more than 30% of fans surveyed still believe the 2018 Confederations Cup will go ahead as planned, even though it’s now clear that the tournament won’t happen.
“We are not yet ready to say that the World Cup is done.
But we think the World Cups are going to be a significant event in the lives of people around the world,” says David Epstein, the federation’s president.
“We’re excited about the World Games, the 2020 Olympics and all the events that we’re planning for the next couple of years.”
While there have been plenty of ups and downs in the World’s most popular sport, the majority of the fans surveyed by the federation think it will continue to grow in the future.
“We see a very positive relationship between fans and the game in general,” Epstein says.
“When you have people with very positive attitudes, when they see the success that’s been had in the world of soccer, they will keep coming back to the game.”
“It’s not just the fans, it’s also the clubs, the owners, the officials and the players, the coaches, the players and the officials that have shown a lot of support and enthusiasm,” he continues.
“There’s a lot that’s on the line.”
Epstein, who has been at the federation since 2005, says he expects the number of supporters will continue rising, and that they will continue coming back.
“It will get bigger and bigger,” Epstein said.
“If you think about how the World Series of American football started, we’re going to get to where we are now.
I think we’re all going to start to see more and more fans.”
People will be able to see the games.
People will have a good time.
He says the federation is currently working on a new program to boost the popularity of the sport in the US, and is working to get more people to show up to the games in 2018. “
A big part of it is the support and the commitment and the love that fans have for the game,” Epstein continues.
He says the federation is currently working on a new program to boost the popularity of the sport in the US, and is working to get more people to show up to the games in 2018.
Epstein says that while there’s a large number of people who want to watch the World Championships, he also wants to encourage people to give it a shot.
“There are some games that I think are better, better than the World Championship because they’re more intense and the fans are really excited and they know what they’re doing,” Epstein told the New York Times.
“The World Cup in terms of its physicality is the best, because the fans know what to expect, and it’s a big show and it takes on a lot more energy than just the World Club Championships.”
But while the World Clubs Cup in 2018 was one of the biggest events in soccer history, many fans were disappointed when it was cancelled after just two weeks.
A year later, the tournament was rescheduled for June, and the United Soccer League, the American soccer league that plays in the USA, will return to the 2018 tournament in 2019.
And it appears the same problem will hold true this year.
“I’m really optimistic that we can get the World Teams back,” Epstein added.
“I think there are a lot people who really want the World Sports to be back.
We have a lot, a lot support, a ton of people in this room.
I don’t think it’s going to take us too long.”
